The call-out fee covers basic diagnosis, checks, immobiliser faults and simple remote coding. If the diagnosis shows a new key is needed and you accept a spare key during the same visit, we waive the call-out fee.

Yes. We run a mobile service across Peterborough and anywhere within 20 miles at no extra travel charge, and up to around 30 miles with any travel charge agreed in advance. You can also visit our unit at 17 Fenlake Business Centre, Peterborough, PE1 5BQ.

Our target for emergency lockouts is to arrive within 35 minutes to 1 hour. We give you a realistic estimate on the phone.

Yes. All-keys-lost jobs are a core part of our work. We cut and programme a new key at your vehicle for most makes and models.

Usually not. We complete most jobs where the vehicle is parked.

Photo ID and proof of ownership (for example the V5C logbook) before we cut or programme a key, plus your registration, make, model and year.

Yes. AutoKey holds liability and business insurance with trade cover.

Yes. Every key we supply comes with a one-year warranty as standard.

Often. We repair remote central locking faults, broken buttons and bent blades, and we can fit a new case from £30.

Our unit is open 8am – 7pm, Monday to Friday. Our phone line and emergency lockout and lost-key service run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are also flexible and can often meet you at the unit outside those hours by arrangement.

Peterborough and everywhere within 20 miles are included with no extra travel charge. We also cover up to around 30 miles, and work further afield nationwide, with any extra charge agreed in advance.
